Whoamentoring Works, Inc. (WmW) was conceptualized by Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Kymrae Mizell-Hill. The concept derives, firstly, from her innate passion for community outreach and youth empowerment, and later through her doctoral research findings, where she found that there is an imperative need for stronger initiatives and programs for marginalized groups, such as at-risk youth (boys and girls) and women specifically. Due to the founder’s research and education, all programs are data-driven and curriculum based including some form of an educational component. Moreover, we consider it essential to provide further context regarding the foundation of our purpose and the reasons driving our work.
Whoamentoring Works, Inc. is dedicated to empowering and mentoring children and adult women in marginalized communities by providing research and curriculum-based programs, mentoring initiatives, and transformative workshops. Through a focus on emotional intelligence and practical life strategies, we aim to help individuals effectively navigate challenges and achieve their highest potential.
