Dr. Kymrae Mizell Hill, known as “Dr. Kymrae” to family, friends, and clients, hails from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  She began her career as a child in the Entertainment Industry as a classically trained competitive dancer.  She continued by becoming an accomplished pageant winner, actor, and model where she was Cast in music videos, commercials, and numerous print catalogs and magazines.  Throughout her career in the industry, she designed her costumes and gowns, where she learned as a child, she wanted to be innovative and creative professionally.  Thus, she pursued and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and Graduate Certificate in Hospitality and Event Management where she received formal training in client services, marketing, catering, and special event production.  She has gained years of project management experience from this training, where oftentimes her services are requested by her clients via her exceptional reputation.  

In 2007, she relocated from Florida to the “Queen City,” Charlotte, NC, where she worked in Hotel Catering Sales and Events, and later, recruited and advised at-risk/first-generation college students, facilitated curriculum-based coursework, and Talent Development for Fortune 500 companies for 14 years.  Soon after, Dr. Kymrae obtained a Master’s of Science Degree in Adult Education – Human Resource Development, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies exhibiting that lifelong learning is truly a philosophy of hers.  Now, as an Organizational Development Consultant, Professor of Hospitality & Business Management, and Executive Director of 501(c)(3) non-profit, Whoamentoring Works, Inc., she continues to spread her talent through teaching, human resources, organizational and leadership consulting, and in performing arts and creative services.

Dr. Kymrae is committed to philanthropy and is a servant leader who has been appointed to Boards, mentoring others, and volunteering time and services with other organizations, such as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., L.A. Lee YMCA Mizell Community Center, NAACP, Dress for Success Charlotte and Miami, HBCU Pride Nation, and Jacob’s Ladder.  She takes great pride in educating, serving, and advocating for her community.  She carries a portfolio of unparalleled work that displays a creative, well-rounded, multifaceted professional willing to dive in with initiative and dedication to communities of underserved youth and women and her clients providing exceptional end results.  Dr. Kymrae is the proud fur-mother of her 14 year old Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie) Dog, “Chauncey.”
